Veselka is NY institution that's been serving classic comfort food with Ukrainian roots since 1954. Over the past few years, the Veselka brand has expanded beyond its East Village roots to include new restaurants in Brooklyn and Grand Central Terminal, as well as a fast-growing wholesale & CPG business.

When Volodymyr and Olha opened their restaurant in 1954, they named it Veselka, “rainbow” in Ukrainian. Their warm, welcoming spirit and rich culinary traditions live on three generations later. Every pierogi is made from scratch and carries the family legacy that we’re proud to serve in NYC and beyond. Well-known for its authentic Ukrainian cuisine, our family-owned restaurant has been a beloved institution in NYC's East Village for 70 years, drawing in New Yorkers, tourists, and the Ukrainian community with its rich flavors and welcoming atmosphere.
