Job Title Brand Manager – US
Department Marketing
Office Base Location MPM USA Office – Phoenix (hybrid), or Remote (Ideally eastern or central time zone)

Relationships Head of Marketing, MPM USA
Key Relationships Global: Marketing (Brand, Innovation, Artwork) + Finance
US: Internal (Sales and Shopper Marketing) + External (Creative, Media, and other 3 rd Party Agencies)
Job Purpose
We are looking for a driven and passionate individual to join the MPM USA marketing team as Brand
Manager. This individual will help develop and execute marketing plans that grow our brands
through effective awareness and trial-driving initiatives. The ideal candidate has 5+ years’
experience managing and growing CPG brands, sold in an omnichannel retailer environment (online
and in-store). They’re digitally savvy, creative, and analytical - able to dig into Nielsen/IRI in the
morning and write a compelling creative brief and plan the brand’s next IG story in the afternoon.
They are eager to make an impact on our growth in the states and support brand planning efforts
globally, by providing insight into our global brand and innovation teams, in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
? Support the development and own the execution of an insight-driven omnichannel annual brand /
marketing plan that supports key business objectives (grow awareness and trial of our brands)
? Be the voice of the US region into the global marketing teams including support for the global
brand planning and NPD stage gate process
? Ensure brand messaging is consistent across all marketing activations (e.g. digital, social,
experiential, etc.)
? Analyze in-market performance of the category, our brands, and our competitors to identify
consumer and competitive trends
? Work with shopper marketing, ecommerce, and sales teams on planning and implementation of
shopper marketing programs and JBPs (in-store, online, and beyond)
? Work with sales team on effective retail execution: e.g. promotional strategies, new product
launches, pricing opportunities, etc.
? Own the marketing budget/process and drive brand productivity by maximizing marketing
effectiveness and spending efficiency (sweating the assets and efficiently developing new
creative)
? Contributes to the development of the broader USA marketing organization, providing coaching
and guidance to others
? You’ll ‘wear many hats’ and need to roll up your sleeves to take on new challenges as the business
continues to grow and evolve
Knowledge, Skills
and Experience
Essential
? 5+ years of marketing experience within CPG (sold at retail)
? Brand development and marketing communications experience
? Strong project management skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
? Strong analytical background in both qualitative and quantitative research (understands the ins
and outs of scan and panel metrics, e.g. Nielsen/IRI/Numerator, as well as other primary and
secondary research methodologies)
? Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
? Willing to travel up to 20% of the time.
? Strong communications (written and verbal) and relationship building skills, critical to the remote
& global structure of our organization
Desirable
? Experience within high-growth/emerging brands (Food, CPG startup/challenger brands) and/or
