ABOUT KULEANA RUM WORKS: Kuleana Rum Works is a new, Hawaiian craft rum distillery based on the Big Island (the only distillery on the Big Island). Founded by a group of local entrepreneurs and backed by industry veterans such as David Perkins from High West Distillery, Kuleana Rum Works currently has distribution across six states with plans to expand nationally. At Kuleana Rum Works, we make Hawaiian Rum Agricole from a selection of heirloom Hawaiian sugarcane varieties that arrived in the islands over 1,000 years ago with the Polynesian wayfinders. We grow all 40 varieties on our farm on the Kohala coast. We also source world-class rums from other countries to blend with our estate-produced agricole rums. Kuleana discloses everything on our back labels and none of the rums we produce contain any added sugar, flavorings, caramel, colorings or other additives.
